Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary area of study that tries to understand the link between brain and mind. The course will run over two semesters. During the first week of the first semester a series of Cognitive Science Overview seminars will be held to introduce you to Cognitive Science and serve as a foundation for subsequent topics. The course will then follow a Semester-by-Semester plan. The first semester will use a traditional, parallel study-units structure to provide a comprehensive introduction to theory and practical methods across a range of Cognitive Science topics. The second semester will use a series of “block” study-units to provide more focused and detailed exposure to specific areas of research in which you are exposed to the latest trends in this highly active area.
